Challenge

  The medieval band Aeternum came into being in Sibiu on august 1999. At the beginning everything evolved out of Claudiu Contiu's passion for medieval art.

  The first 13 Aeternum pieces are adapted from the Codex Caioni exclusively for guitar performance. From here on the band evolved into a leading musical and cultural project.

  Solution

  We have created a website to immortalize the unicity and value of the project by designing an interface that combines the old with the new using an enchanting mixture of browns and grays. Using Neumann`s painting of Sibiu/Hermannstadt of 19th century we gave life to old traditions.

  Using Macromedia Flash technology we brought interactivity into medieval offering streaming and smart XML parsing to the site
