Challenge

   Snaco Dixie Band is the first Dixieland jazz band in Romania. This special offer was born from the iDesign desire to give this band and this kind of music the media acknowledgement that they deserve.

  In doing this, we also wanted to give, prove and show our all support for bold ideas and concepts of all kind from the cultural-educational system.


  Solution

  The website iDesign created for Snaco Dixie Band was in perfect harmony with their toe-taping, foot-stomping music: old, but in the traditional “oldies, but goldies style”, with colors from the early century: sepia which made the site resembled with an old photo of a band. In order to make it more understandable, reachable for the public eye, entering the page we created links in the form of instruments: an old radio, a drum, a sax and a trumpet.

  The old 3D radio plays Dixieland jazz music of course: it has a play list of five songs, you can adjust the volume or you can turn it off.

  The site was made to reflect the music (generally intended for dancing and having a good time and played in such a manner that the underlined tune is recognizable to the untrained listener) and just the sight, a glance on it, is made to take you to the times in which this kind of music was born-this was the main iDesign idea for this project.
